The Inn frequently hosts private events and dinner parties. We invite you to schedule your next event with us and let us take care of all the details. Our dining rooms are ideal for dinner presentations, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, & many other special events. The Inn draws people from near and far and is considered to be one of the finest dining establishments in Salado. Dignitaries of foreign countries, and neighbors from across town have experienced the Inn’s inviting evening atmosphere and exceptional cuisine.

House made Shrimp and Ricotta stuffed Ravioli Pasta tossed in a savory Sundried Tomato Vodka Cream Sauce finished with fresh Basil and hand grated Parmesan Cheese

~Second Course~
Grilled Peach and Candied Bacon Spinach Salad
Grilled fresh Peaches and candied Bacon tossed with crisp Spinach, Cherry Tomatoes and toasted Pecans dressed with a sweet Lemon Lime Vinaigrette

~Third Course~
Herb Crusted Tenderloin Filet
A savory blend of Garlic Rosemary and Thyme crusted over a succulent cut of prime Tenderloin Filet paired with a creamy Mushroom Sauce paired with Au Gratin Potatoes and sautéed Balsamic Brussel Sprouts
Spinach and Feta Stuffed Pork Loin Chop
A thick and juicy seasoned Pork Loin Chop stuffed with fresh Spinach and Feta Cheese seared to golden brown perfection and glazed with a White Wine Shallot Sauce served with sautéed Haricot Vert and Mushroom Melody and a Rutabaga Mash

Country Style Lemon Pie
A sweet Lemon Custard baked in a classic buttery Graham Cracker Crust garnished with a candied Lemon Wedge and house made whipped Cream

Chopped Romaine Lettuce tossed with an assortment of diced Red Peppers, Avocados, Pecans, Cherry Tomatoes and grilled Corn, dressed with a house made Blue Cheese Dressing

~Third Course~
Basil Buttered Tenderloin Filet
Grilled Filet cooked to perfection and finished with coined Basil Butter and various Spices, paired with Parmesan au gratin Potatoes and an Asparagus-Carrot bundle
Pecan Encrusted Chicken Breast

Casual Culture & Fine Dining

Inn on the Creek's restaurant & bar is called Alexander's Distillery. (Named after the distillery located on the grounds from 1861-65, which washed away in a flood. You may view our historic marker, located between the restaurant & manor). Patrons enjoy 1st, 2nd, & 3rd floor seating with verandas overlooking the creek on each level. Its warm aubergine & copper walls contrast the amazing art representation from local galleries. The stunning view of Salado Creek as well as the grounds of the neighboring estate provide the perfect spot to enjoy your favorite beverage. Patrons choose from a variety of entree selections.

Full Southern-Style Breakfast

Each guest room reservation comes with a complimentary single seating for breakfast (at 9am) on the 1st floor of our on-site restaurant.

With prior notice, guests are invited to add-on breakfast delivery (delivered at 8:45am) to their room for a nominal $20 fee.

Breakfasts are hot and are usually different each morning of your stay with us, and feature fresh fruit, coffee or hot tea, and orange juice. An Inn on the Creek morning meal is an excellent start to the day!
