The Inn frequently hosts private events and dinner parties. We invite you to schedule your next event with us and let us take care of all the details. Our dining rooms are ideal for dinner presentations, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, & many other special events. The Inn draws people from near and far and is considered to be one of the finest dining establishments in Salado. Dignitaries of foreign countries, and neighbors from across town have experienced the Inn’s inviting evening atmosphere and exceptional cuisine.

Casual Culture & Fine Dining

Inn on the Creek's restaurant & cocktail lounge is called Alexander's Distillery. (Named after the distillery located on the grounds from 1861-65, which washed away in a flood. You may view our historic marker, located between the restaurant & manor). Patrons enjoy 1st, 2nd, & 3rd floor seating with verandas overlooking the creek on each level. Its warm aubergine & copper walls contrast the amazing art representation from local galleries. The stunning view of Salado Creek as well as the grounds of the neighboring estate provide the perfect spot to enjoy your favorite beverage. Patrons choose from a variety of entree selections.

Full Southern-Style Breakfast

Each guest room reservation comes with a complimentary single serving breakfast (at 9am) on the 1st floor of our on-site restaurant.

With prior notice, guests are invited to add-on breakfast delivery (delivered at approximately 9:30am) to their room for a nominal $20 fee.

Breakfasts are hot, always fresh, and feature fresh fruit, coffee or hot tea, and orange juice. An Inn on the Creek morning meal is an excellent start to the day!

If you need to leave early and can not dine with us let us know at check in and we can make you a breakfast box to put in your refrigerator, with our onsite baked muffins, fresh fruit and orange juice.

(However our other onsite restaurant The Shed, located at Royal and Center Circle, is open from 11am-9pm on Sunday and 5-9pm on Monday. The Shed provides a casual environment and great food.)
