Inn on the Creek is an elegant 22-room lodging property made up of a variety of fully restored structures situated on fourteen acres on the banks of spring-fed Salado Creek. The Inn provides private-club style service and gourmet dining to satisfy any five-star palate. Rooms include maid service for multiple-day stays and a full complimentary southern-style breakfast.
Our Inn is nestled along the banks of Salado Creek in the historic Village of Salado, Texas. The older section of the Inn was originally constructed in 1882 in nearby Cameron, Texas. The structure was doubled in size in 1985-86 after being moved to its present location.
Our other adjacent structures have been moved from Belton, Holland, and Georgetown. The original wood details, trim and doors have been carefully cleaned and restored. The interiors are exquisitely renovated, with close attention to every detail.
Inn on the Creek has six lodging facilities—the Manor, the Holland House, the Giles-Kindred House, the Horton House, the Bungalows, and the Salado College Quarters—each offering a unique guest experience. Explore all of our rooms here.
When you visit Inn on the Creek, you never have to leave if you don't want to. Our property offers two distinct dining experiences: Alexander's Distillery and The Shed. During your stay, stroll through our on-site art gallery, then visit our unique gift shop. And as our guest, you can take advantage of all our room and lodging amenities.
